Our founder visited Iceland with his family in 2015. Whilst he was there, he fell in love with the pristine and clean environment that is Iceland! His family found the glacier water to be a light composition that is crisp and refreshing which is effervescent and light on the palate. Iceland's environment is one of the cleanest and untouched lands of the world. He managed to find a unique source of glacier water which he discovered he could sustainably harvest from glacier to glass by gravity alone. This enabled us to bring one of the finest sources of water in the world to everyone. Some fun facts about the Icelandic culture!: Icelandic people believe in elves and fairies and it is a very important part of their culture! Some say that they found the water before us but now you can enjoy it too!. Where we harvest the water in the Vestman Islands in Iceland, is home to a breeding colony of puffins and they represent part of the image of our Avalis brand.
